At MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, we have an interdisciplinary team approach to treating orthopaedic conditions. Each patient is cared for by a dedicated orthopaedic team that includes physicians, orthopaedic-trained nurses, physical therapists, and pain management specialists. As part of the renowned MedStar Orthopaedic Institute team, we offer unique non-surgical and surgical treatment options that range from minimally invasive computer guided surgery to in-room therapy.

As part of our interdisciplinary team approach, the highly-trained team of occupational and physical therapists work closely with the physician and nurse program coordinator to coordinate a therapeutic program designed to produce the best possible outcome for each individual patient.

Located in proximity to the Emergency Department, our orthopaedic specialists are also highly skilled in fracture care and treating trauma-related injuries.
