Debbie Biewer

Debbie Biewer, MSN, RN

Director, Ambulatory Nursing

"I was initially drawn to MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, because it is a community hospital with an emphasis on professional development and education. The reason I stayed is because MedStar Franklin Square is an organization that encourages best practices, evidence-based care, and personal growth and development. Leaders listen to great ideas and empower nurses to think outside the box and implement new projects and solutions to improve care. There is also a strong focus on safety and error prevention. I have been able to explore a career path (not just a “job”), go back to school, and have the autonomy to focus on the things about which I am passionate."
