Nursing is so much more than daily day to day tasks. It is taking the time to sit down, get to know your patients, what is important to them, and their health and findings. It is that connection that builds a nurse-patient relationship. If you are able to connect with your patient, you will make the greatest impact and that is the most rewarding thing for me.
