Elizabeth Chacko, D.O., is an endocrinologist, specializing in the treatment of patients who have been diagnosed with diabetes, thyroid disease, and osteoporosis, as well as pituitary and adrenal adenomas. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Chacko earned her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She went on to complete internship and residency programs in internal medicine at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, where she was presented a prestigious teaching award, and also earned Press Ganey patient satisfaction ratings in the 95th percentile. Dr. Chacko completed her fellowship in endocrinology at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Here, she devoted much time to a quality improvement project focused on analyzing and optimizing blood glucose data for diabetic patients.
